Heavy-duty truss robots are essential automated handling equipment in modern industrial production, featuring stable operation and high positioning accuracy. Equipped with customized grippers, they are widely used for loading, unloading, material transportation, warehousing and logistics turnover. To solve the pain points of high labor intensity, low efficiency and high operational costs in the new energy industry’s high-standard copper and zinc foreign matter control production lines, Truman has developed a professional two-axis truss robot for ton bag handling to realize fully automated heavy-load transportation and optimize overall production efficiency.

This two-axis ton bag handling truss robot is specially designed for new energy production scenarios with strict copper and zinc impurity control requirements. It achieves automatic grabbing, stacking and transferring of heavy ton bags, replacing manual heavy handling work. The intelligent handling process effectively stabilizes production consistency, reduces manual errors and labor costs, and greatly improves the automation level of the production line.

Tailored according to on-site production rhythm, ton bag specifications and workshop space layout, the complete equipment consists of support columns, X-axis and Z-axis beam structures, professional ton bag grippers and an intelligent electrical control system. Integrated with PLC control, network communication and sensor detection technologies, the robot realizes fully intelligent, unmanned cyclic handling, supporting stable and long-term industrial operation.

The machine delivers reliable heavy-duty working performance with precise industrial parameters. It supports a maximum load of 1000kg and achieves a positioning accuracy of ±2mm, ensuring accurate grabbing and placement of ton bags. The X-axis boasts a 3m stroke with an adjustable speed of 0–0.3m/s, while the Z-axis has a 1.2m stroke and a speed range of 0–0.1m/s, perfectly adapting to on-site handling and stacking workflows.

The robot supports two flexible working modes to match diverse production demands. It can automatically grab and transport stacked double ton bags with a total weight of 1000kg from the roller conveyor, as well as handle single 1000kg ton bags without stacking procedures. Highly adaptable and customizable, the two-axis truss robot can be adjusted according to product size, production line layout and process requirements, providing personalized automated handling solutions for different industrial scenarios.
