The 4-axis gantry robot for train wheel set handling is a heavy-duty automated handling equipment specially developed for railway wheel turning and maintenance production lines. Adopting a rigid gantry frame structure, the machine consists of support columns, X-axis cross beam, Y-axis moving module, Z-axis lifting module and R-axis rotating module. With a maximum load capacity of 2000kg, it fully meets the heavy-load handling requirements of train wheel set components. The equipment supports continuous automated operation with a designed daily capacity of 144 wheel sets, effectively improving the efficiency and standardization of railway wheel maintenance workshops.

This four-axis linkage gantry manipulator realizes stable horizontal traversing, precise vertical lifting and flexible angle rotation. It replaces traditional manual and crane handling methods, solving the problems of low efficiency, poor safety and unstable precision in wheel set loading, unloading and transferring processes. The overall mechanical structure is highly rigid and anti-deformation, ensuring long-term stable operation in heavy-load and high-frequency industrial scenarios.

Equipped with an ultra-long 33-meter X-axis travel, the gantry robot covers a large working area and adapts to the long-distance transfer layout of wheel set turning production lines. The 90° rotating R-axis enables flexible angle adjustment, realizing accurate docking and orderly arrangement of train wheel sets. With stable low-speed operation and precise positioning performance, it avoids component collision and displacement during handling.
