Trimming‑Waste Removal System

The automatic trimming‑waste removal system consists of a 2‑axis gantry manipulator, robot end‑effector and waste‑recycling tank. It automatically picks trimmed bathtub waste edges and transports scraps to designated positions to deliver high‑efficiency automated production. This solution improves workplace safety and environmental performance, cuts manual labor and lowers overall production costs.

Driven by servo motors, the 2‑axis gantry manipulator delivers high positioning accuracy and fast dynamic response for stable continuous operation. The robot end‑effector is assembled with push cylinders and lifting wedges to complete waste‑edge grabbing tasks.

After trimming, bathtubs together with tooling fixtures move to the waste‑cleaning station. The 2‑axis gantry manipulator precisely positions its end‑effector toward trimming scraps. The push cylinder extends, and lifting wedges catch the waste edge. The manipulator carries captured waste to the recycling tank. Then the push cylinder retracts, letting scraps drop into the waste tank for collection.

This waste‑removal unit is one segment of a full‑automated production line custom‑built by Truman for bathtub manufacturers. The complete production line covers bathtub mold drilling, edge trimming, waste removal and dust‑removal procedures.
