Barrel Cover Cleaning Gantry Robot

The barrel cover cleaning 2-axis gantry manipulator is a highly automated handling solution specially developed for industrial barrel processing lines. It undertakes full-station transportation of barrel covers and supports seamless data interaction with AGV systems and professional cleaning equipment. This integrated system realizes fully unmanned automatic cleaning, transferring and capping procedures, greatly improving the intelligence level of barrel production workflows.

The complete system features a scientific layout, including multiple functional stations: barrel cover feeding station, two independent cleaning stations, clean cover buffer station and automatic capping station. The 2-axis gantry manipulator consists of X-axis, Z-axis, customized clamping gripper and support columns. Equipped with servo motors, planetary reducers, timing belts and rack-and-pinion transmission mechanisms, the robot delivers fast response and stable operation. The end gripper adopts suction cup and special capping structure, which perfectly meets customized load, speed and precision standards for industrial barrel cover handling tasks.

This high-performance gantry robot supports heavy-load and high-efficiency operation. It achieves a payload of 50kg and a repeated positioning accuracy of ±1mm, ensuring precise grabbing and placement without position deviation. The X-axis stroke reaches 6500mm with a running speed of 36m/min, while the Z-axis stroke is 1200mm with a speed of 18m/min. The stable cycle time is less than 60 seconds per piece, and the equipment supports 21-hour non-stop continuous production, adapting to high-intensity factory working modes.

In actual operation, the gantry manipulator automatically grabs barrel covers and sends them into cleaning stations once the equipment is idle. After thorough cleaning, the robot transfers qualified clean covers to the buffer station or directly delivers them to the capping station to complete automatic barrel closing. The entire process runs automatically without manual intervention.

Designed with modular structure, the equipment complies with national and industrial manufacturing standards. All metal surfaces undergo strict sandblasting, degreasing, pickling, phosphating and coating treatments.
